Fall is one of the most beautiful seasons, and we live in a state that invites us to enjoy stunning foliage. Many of us have been cooped up in our homes for months, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy physically distanced sightseeing in Maryland’s gorgeous outdoors. Whether you want to take a drive through the countryside, along the water or through historical areas — or want to fully immerse yourself in leaf-lined trails, opportunities abound.

By Foot

If you want to walk among the trees, visit some of these beautiful parks and walking trails. Many of these areas also have bike trails!

By Car

Want to view the fall colors by car? Take a drive through some of Maryland’s most beautiful roads.
