Efe Dogruoz

I am from Turkey (grew up there until college) and one thing I really miss from there is the taste of the tomatoes. The tomatoes in the supermarkets in the US feel tasteless to me in comparison to what I grew up with. There isn’t as much of a difference for other vegetables. I’ve been going to the farmer’s market on Sundays solely to buy tomatoes. They are better than supermarket ones but still don’t taste like the Turkish ones. I’m always open to hearing recommendations as to where to get good tomatoes.
